Doberman Pinscher Mix
Darcy is a brand-new arrival from an upstate animal shelter. She was returned to the shelter by an adopter because there was a confrontation between her and another dog. We suspected the other dog was a female, so we have her kenneled with a tolerant male Doberman, and there isn't a problem. She is thought to be about 4 years old, and we think she is a slight mix. Her coat is a bit thicker than the short, flat coat of a typical Doberman, which may make her better suited for a cooler home environment, as in a beach or mountain/foothills type of setting. Darcy is strong on leash, but she focuses well on her handler and should be easy to train.
