VOLUNTEERING
Got some extra time on your hands? Love dogs? Come on out to Dobie Rescue! You must be at least 18 years old and willing to get dirty. Our open house is Saturday between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm.
Here are some ways you can help out:
-Dog Walking-We need dog walkers so the dogs can get out
of their kennels and get some good exercise. We have a small
army of regular walkers but we can always use more. We have
dogs of all sizes and strengths but you must be comfortable with large dogs. We'll provide the leash. All you need is good shoes, comfortable clothes (for all weather conditions), water, and energy!
Please note: Check the weather before coming out since intense heat would limit volunteer opportunities for the safety of the dogs. Also note that Saturdays are adoption days as well so we ask for patience if we happen to be busy.
FOSTERING
We do not have a foster program at this time, as all of our resources go towards the rescue ranch and the dogs we are already caring for there. If you are able to foster then please reach out to our rescue friends at Bella and Sunshine Rescue who is a foster-based rescue in Southern California.
