Doberman Pinscher
Grogan, whose owner recently surrendered him due to a move, is almost 18 months old. He surprised us when he arrived because, unlike most Dobermans who aren't very reliable when strangers approach their car, Grogan was friendly and wanted to be petted, sticking his head out the window for any attention that might be coming his way. He's healthy and well take care of, good with dogs, cats and children, and he knows obedience commands. His only negative - not his fault - is that he was strictly an outdoor dog, so he'll presumably need supervision until he's fully housebroken. During his brief stay with us, he has been vocal when confined but we think most of that is because he is still confused at the loss of his former home. He just wants to be a part of a family and loves attention so we hope he gets his second chance really soon. Grogan is a darling!
