Gunny is very insecure and can be fear-aggressive with people he doesn't know
Gunny came to us from his owners; they were forced to give him up because their apartment life wasn't suitable for a large, active dog. Gunny's date of birth is May 9, 2015, and he's mostly housebroken and ok being crated, good with kids, and has never bitten anyone. He is overprotective of his home and owners due primarily to fear issues. It took us about a month to feel comfortable petting him and longer for him to trust enough to be leashed. Once Gunny's trust is established, he's happy and fun to be with. Likewise he's insecure with other dogs and will bark at them, though he wasn't aggressive to a large female dog he was briefly kenneled with. He has been with us since May 6, 2017.
