Nixie is ready for a new home!! This sweet charmer has come such a long way in only a week and we just know she will make an amazing dog for someone or a family. She is probably 2 or maybe even 3 years old but she has the playfulness and innocence of a puppy. She was dog social from the start and absolutely needs at least one other dog in the home to play with. It took about a week but now she is showing her foster mom the same love, following her around and loving all the affection she can get. Nixie is pretty quiet and well behaved for a youngster and apart from a little chewing, she is a really good girl. It doesn't seem like Nixie has had a lot of training but she takes direction well and some gentle, patient work goes a long way with her. She is a happy girl with a tail that never stops and we are so glad that we were drawn to her that day at the animal shelter. Remember that Nixie LOVES water so if you spend your days at the beach or the lake then this girl could be the perfect addition to your home. We still have no idea what breeds she has in her but does it really matter? She is now spayed, up to date on vaccinations and ready for her new start. Want to meet her or take her home?
