Doberman Pinscher
Novalee is a young female who came to us from an animal shelter with one of the worst cases of demodectic mange we have ever seen. The medication worked but it took a while for her skin to heal and her fur to grow back. Thankfully, she did heal and she is currently in a foster home where she will get some addition TLC and continue getting better until she finds a forever home. She is under 2 years old with energy to spare so she will need a home that is ready to put in the training she needs to become a well mannered member of the family. She has proven that she has wonderful social skills with other dogs and cats but she loves to play so a larger, active dog that can romp with her would be an ideal companion. We also think Novalee has a sweet enough temperament for kids but training will be a must so she doesn't knock over or jump on young children. Novalee is in a foster home but it is within 15 minutes of the rescue in Fillmore, ca so if you want to meet her then please contact us ahead of time so we can make sure she is present for meet and greets.
