Doberman Pinscher
Sheldon is a very special case and he's look for a very special home. He was a stray at an animal shelter and absolutely emaciated. Some of the pictures posted here were taken the day he came in. Luckily he was pretty healthy and just a little anemic. He has gained a little more than 20 lbs now and is well on his way to a normal weight. He's eating well and we think his new home can continue his rehab until he reaches that ideal weight. Sheldon is probably about 4 years old but he's still full of energy. He LOVES to play and he's got some long legs so he at least needs a decent yard. He is good with other dogs but he doesn't like to be dominated and may not get along with some large males in the home. He is good with little dogs and pretty much leaves them alone. Sheldon also loves water which isn't normal for dobermans so a home that would take advantage of that would be great. We haven't tested him with cats yet but we think he's definitely sweet enough for kids. This guy is such a sweetheart and you've got to meet him to love him!
