Doberman Pinscher
This gorgeous girl is Ziba and she is still a fairly new addition but she makes a big impression. She is tall for a female and quite beautiful even though she still needs to gain a few pounds. She was given up by her owners because they were moving out of state and they were concerned about her making the trip because she "doesn't do well in the car". She does get a little nervous about getting in the car but we are broken hearted that she lost the only home she had ever known because of such a small issue. Ziba was nervous at first but with gentle guidance she has shown just how tightly she bonds to people and we know she will be a dedicated and loyal friend to whomever is lucky enough to take her home. She is somewhere between 1 and 2 years old, athletic and really affectionate. She was also raised with kids so she could make the ideal family dog! Ziba was an outdoor dog so she will need a little training and leadership to learn how to behave in the house but we think she will enjoy the comforts and learn quickly. She also had a canine buddy in her previous home so we think she can live with the right larger male but she may need one that will give her space when she needs it. Ziba is another youngster that may not be perfect right away but is so full of potential just waiting to be unlocked.
