We rescued Apollo from a Los Angeles County shelter, where he was described as insecure but unaggressive. The animal control officer that picked him up said he seemed to enjoy children. During the three weeks we have had him as this is written, he has been a good boy for us. Apollo is about 4 years old and he's an average-sized male at about 65-70 pounds. We have Apollo kenneled happily with a female Dobie but he doesn't appreciate strange dogs pushing into his space when on leash. Apollo is such a laid back guy and we think he would appreciate an equally laid back environment.
