Bixby is a pleasant fellow we rescued from a central valley animal shelter. He's average sized for a male, weighing somewhere in the 65-pound range, and he's about 4 years old. When he first arrived, Bixby was kenneled with another male compatibly, though a large female dog companion would be preferable, and he would probably equally enjoy a home where he would be the only dog. He pays attention to his human and doesn't overwhelm by jumping on people, so he likely has had some training.
