It's hard to comprehend why a dog as handsome and young as Boffo is nearly ran out of time at his animal shelter without being adopted. He's a little over a year old, weighs just under 70 pounds,and is social with his female kennelmate. Boffo is high-energy and probably a bit much for young kids or senior citizens. We are working with him on his tendency to rush at other dogs when on leash and bark at them when on the other side of his fence. To continue his training after adoption he'll need a confident, strong owner so that his behavior will remain at its best.
