Meet Bonnie! This high-energy youngster came to us from an animal shelter. She had a cataract in one of her eyes and we tried to get it treated. Unfortunately, she went from not being a candidate for surgery to needing surgery asap when her eye deteriorated suddenly and became very painful. We had to make the difficult decision to remove her affected eye and give her relief. She dealt with the change easily since she didn't have full vision to begin with and now she is ready for a new home that does mind her permanent wink. She LOVES people and happily greets everyone she meets but that doesn't always extend to other dogs. Some dogs she is perfectly fine with, even playing but some dogs barks at. Bonnie loves to play, run and snuggle so she would be ideal for someone with a big yard and big heart.
