Callie had a good home from puppyhood until age 4 (as of March, 2025), but due to the owner's depression/anxiety and two very small dogs living in the home, the owner worried that Callie would step on the smalls and felt overwhelmed that Callie had more energy than she could find outlets for. She is well-trained: housebroken, command trained, great on recall, even received Petco good citizenship certification. Since her arrival Callie has been kenneled with several dogs of both sexes, and she appears more affiliative with women than with men and children. She weighs 52 pounds.
