Cashman, usually called Cash, was relinquished by his owner at the very senior age of 11 years. He was living in an apartment with her and a small child (with another child on the way), and he required numerous walks daily to relieve himself because she has no yard. At some point this became too much for the owner and we agreed to take Cash if he was dog-social. He is, thankfully. Sadly, though his needs are being met, he is used to always being indoors, coddled and pampered like the child, and he clearly misses that. Cash was well taken care of and is in good health for his age, so he's definitely not a hospice case, just a dog we hope could live out his remaining years happier than he currently is.
