Not quite someone you would expect to find at Dobie Rescue, but after seeing Daisy's sweet face at an animal shelter when we picked up a Dobie there, and knowing she had "timed out," we couldn't leave her. We received her DNA test results and she is mostly Great Pyrenees mixed with Anatolian Shepherd. She is tall and willowy, with long, soft hair, and she has been an easy keeper for us. Though Daisy has been kenneled with a male Dobie, having a companion dog doesn't appear to be important to her. Daisy is about 18 months old.  Though she is a mix of two "livestock guardian" breeds that often need a large property or a job to do, we believe Daisy is an exception.  She seems happy with a very calm, cozy life and we think she would be a beautiful fit for a myriad of different homes but she does have a big, watchdog bark.
