Dapper led an unusual sort of life resulting in being in poor shape prior to being taken to an animal shelter for custody, so he's a little unsure of a whole world that is all new to him. He's very sweet and looking to a new human to bond with, and we intend to ensure that he gets that. Ideally Dapper should have a calm and caring adult home environment, perhaps with retirees or people that work from home. He appears familiar with crates and readily enters them, resting quietly and calmly when inside one. Dapper is about 5 years old and has gained weight during his two-month animal shelter stay, where he weighed 66 pounds on arrival.
