Gordy is a typical Dobie juvenile, about 9 months old (as of April, 2025), and on the small side at about 45 pounds. He excitedly sought attention from numerous other dogs of both sexes at his animal shelter, inviting play with those that chose to interact with him. Here with us he's kenneled with a larger Dobie male and female, and all of them have accepted each other though the bigger Dobies have thus far declined to play with him. Gordy will need work to walk nicely on leash and for other basic manners like not jumping on people, play-biting, etc.
