Gusto is a tall, lean, handsome male from a Central Valley animal shelter. On arrival at the shelter he had numerous healing wounds around his neck and on his ear from an unknown cause. Since Gusto has not appeared dog-aggressive, we don't think he initiated any sort of confrontation with another dog, and in fact he is kenneled with a female Dobie compatibly. He seems somewhat insecure and timid, and often dogs with behavior like this have been accustomed to having a more confident dog to follow. Gusto is underweight at about 60 pounds, and he's about 2 years old.
