Hartley is a strange name, but it's the one she came with when we rescued her from a central valley animal shelter, so she may have a long history with the name. She had become a favorite at her overcrowded animal shelter because she really appreciates all attention and almost dances with joy when she receives it. Hartley is about 2 years old and weighs 57 pounds, so she's a lean Dobie mix girl with a lot to give. She is social with other dogs but doesn't require another canine companion to be happy.
