Hobbit's animal shelter staff thought he was all Doberman, but we're glad we rescued him even though he's slightly mixed. He's about 2 years old and he's the medium-size that many people prefer: 43 pounds. On arrival, Hobbit was really timid, but being kenneled with a couple of confident companions, he is much more comfortable now around strangers, out on walks, and with general handling. We think he is a sweet boy who would likely be at his best if he is adopted as a companion for another dog.
