Laila is a beautiful, petite Dobie girl who continues to surprise us with her good behavior. We already knew that she is dog-social, and we had also learned that she's good with young kids when a mother and her 5-year-old child had charge of her on a recent pack hike with us; she was great with everyone, including the child. Now, in addition to all of that, Laila tested beautifully with our cat during introductions, acting as though she knew about cats and was mildly interested but not focused on the cat, easily distracted by other goings-on. Her shelter aged her at 5 years old (but we think 4 is more accurate), and she has a calm and patient demeanor.
