Leif first entered his animal shelter system in late September, 2024, and he was very stressed, likely from losing whatever home he had known. Soon after, the shelter neutered Leif and began seeking a foster situation for him, and he became a shelter favorite. It was noticed early on that he has a slight vestibular condition, making him appear uncoordinated and comical at times, and the shelter staff dressed him up and took videos of him so potential adopters could observe how endearing he is. Leif spent numerous weeks in foster, with no imminent adopters presenting themselves, so he's with us four months later! We're grateful to the shelter for "going the mile" for so long with Leif, truly showing their commitment to this deserving and unique Dobie. He's about 3 years old and weighs 68 pounds.
