Maxx had us fooled. From a distance he looked like a large handsome cropped Dobie, but on arrival he turned out to be a large handsome Dobie mix with nicely cropped ears and normal Dobie conformation. It's just his markings that aren't quite all Dobie, which we think will probably result in him having less risk of Doberman-related health issues. Maxx is a big dog, probably weighing about 90 pounds, and he's about 5 years old as of March, 2025. He has been social with most other social dogs, and he's a friendly, happy dog who is also a good watchdog.
