Molly is a good dog in many ways. She's housebroken, good with kids, good off-leash, knows her commands, isn't destructive, has never bitten anyone. But her owner had to relinquish her after four years because of her aggression to small dogs. This should not be an insurmountable problem as long as an owner can control her on walks. If necessary, a muzzle is a simple way to protect other dogs encountered on walks, and obviously Molly should not share a home with a small dog. She is 5 years old now, and she's sad....
