Morticia came into our possession as a very pregnant Dobie. Animal shelters in general, and hers in particular, are not in a position to care for newborns nor to keep them disease-free, so very shortly after we rescued Morticia she gave birth to 8 lovely puppies, and she was a wonderful mother. Now she's ready for her own home, and she has been kenneled with a male Doberman with no issues. We did find out that she will not be able to live with cats, though. She's about 3 years old and weighs about 60 pounds.
