Picardy is one of the more unusual dogs you'll see in any of our posts. His animal shelter pleaded for our assistance rescuing him, as we were there that day for another dog anyway, and Picardy had been beaten up by another dog and was worried and frightened in that environment. When he arrived we put him in with two dog-social females, and he blossomed. That leads us to think he probably had a confident canine companion previously. His shelter listed him as a Picardy Sheepdog mix, so that's how he got his name. He's a young adult weighing a little over 50 pounds.
