She was originally named Lucky by the animal shelter staff, but since we already had a Lucky, she became Plucky, and she is indeed a plucky little lady. She's high energy, typical for Dobies at her young age of about 1 year. Plucky initially came to our attention because she had a leg wound near her elbow that required medical attention, and a few weeks later she was as good as new. Plucky weighed 42 pounds on intake at her shelter in July but she has grown a little since then, and she will benefit from some training to focus her attention and improve her manners.
