Shana is a pretty 5-year-old girl who is finally ready for our adoption. She had a pretty gnarly wound on her neck when she arrived so she went to the vet for treatment and was spayed at the same time. It took us a while to get the infection fully under control so she could heal but we finally beat it and her fur is growing back. She is enthusiastically loving with people, seeking out attention and affection whenever she can. She is active and ready to enjoy adventure with her new person or family. Unfortunately, she’s not as thrilled with other dogs. She has been able to live with certain large males but it isn’t always harmonious so she needs someone that can help her navigate those relationships and interactions. Her prey drive definitely rules out cats or small dogs though. You will not find a happier dog and she will love you like no other so as long as her dog social skills aren’t a deal breaker, please consider giving Shana a forever home!
