Smokey II is brand new as of March 20, 2023, and he's a lucky dog. We were very pressed for space and concerned about his animal shelter's remarks that he was "stressed" in his kennel. On arrival here we partnered him with another dog, and in our easygoing environment he doesn't appear stressed at all. It's possible that Smokey just doesn't tolerate being all alone very well, perhaps after being dumped by an owner? We like this tall, lanky fawn boy, who is 3 years old and weighs just over 70 pounds. Smokey would probably be a good running companion or play buddy for an active family.
