Van came to us from far upstate California in September. He was underweight, had a damaged ear, and an upper respiratory infection, so he required some rehab and wasn't a very happy dog then. We had partnered him with a female, but he spent most of his time in his dogloo being a bit grumpy to his companion. Van was always friendly and happy to see people, though, making us believe he was a happy pet at some point in his life. Recently our volunteers raved about how sweet and snuggly he was to them, reinforcing that he needs another home that will provide that for him. He's about 2 years old and weighs about 65 pounds.
